Notes & Terms of Service
This invoice is issued by DeepBlue Oceanographic Consultancy Ltd., a registered oceanographic services firm operating from Nairobi, Kenya. All oceanographic fieldwork was conducted in compliance with the Kenya Marine and Fisheries Act (Cap 378) and the National Environment Management Authority (NEMA) regulations.
The oceanographer and all supporting personnel hold valid permits issued by the Kenya Oceanographic and Meteorological Service (KOMS) for conducting marine and freshwater research within Kenyan territorial waters and inland water bodies.
Payment is due within fourteen (14) calendar days from the issue date. Late payments will attract a penalty of 2% per month as stipulated under Kenyan commercial law. All amounts are denominated in Kenyan Shillings (KES) and are subject to the prevailing tax rates set by the Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA).
Any disputes arising from this invoice shall be resolved through arbitration in Nairobi, Kenya, in accordance with the Arbitration Act, 1995 of the Laws of Kenya.
