Payment Terms & Conditions
This Invoice is issued by the undersigned Oceanographer in accordance with the service agreement dated 01 May 2025 between DeepBlue Oceanographic Research Institute (Kathmandu, Nepal) and the Nepal Oceanic Studies & Marine Policy Council.
- Payment is due within 15 calendar days from the date of this Invoice, i.e., by 30 June 2025.
- Remittance shall be made via bank transfer to: Nabil Bank Ltd., Kathmandu Branch, A/C No. 001-456789-01, Account Name: DeepBlue Oceanographic Research Institute.
- A late payment penalty of 1.5% per month will be applied to any outstanding balance beyond the due date, as stipulated under Nepal's commercial transaction regulations.
- All deliverables referenced in this Invoice are the intellectual property of the Oceanographer and the Institute until full payment is received.
- This Invoice is valid for 60 days from the date of issue. After this period, a revised Invoice may be required to reflect updated tax rates applicable in Nepal Kathmandu.
Additional Notes
The Oceanographer wishes to express gratitude to the Nepal Kathmandu research community for their continued support of marine science initiatives. All field data collected under this engagement will be archived at the Institute's Kathmandu headquarters and made available to the public domain within 12 months of project completion, in compliance with Nepal's Open Data Policy 2024.
Please retain this Invoice for your institutional records. A digital copy has also been transmitted to the billing email address on file. For any queries regarding line items, tax calculations, or deliverable specifications, please contact the Oceanographer's administrative office at the address listed above.
