Payment Terms & Notes

This Invoice is issued by DeepBlue Oceanographic Research Institute for professional Oceanographer services rendered in Sri Lanka Colombo. Payment of the net payable amount is due within fourteen (14) calendar days from the date of this Invoice, i.e., by 30 June 2025.

Payment shall be made via bank transfer to: Commercial Bank of Ceylon, Colombo Main Branch, Account Name: DeepBlue Oceanographic Research Institute, Account No: 1010-0045-8821-33, SWIFT: CBLKLKLX.

All Oceanographer fieldwork was conducted in full compliance with the Sri Lanka Ports and Harbours Act, the Environmental Protection Act (No. 56 of 1986), and the regulations of the Sri Lanka Colombo Port Authority. All permits and clearances were obtained prior to commencement of operations in Sri Lanka Colombo waters.

The Lead Oceanographer, Dr. Nimali Fernando, holds a PhD in Marine Geophysics from the University of Colombo and has over fifteen years of experience in hydrographic and oceanographic surveying across the Indian Ocean region. All data collected during this engagement is the exclusive intellectual property of the Sri Lanka Colombo Port Authority upon full settlement of this Invoice.

Any disputes arising from this Invoice shall be governed by the laws of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka and shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in Colombo. Late payments shall attract interest at the rate of 2% per month as stipulated under the Sri Lanka Commercial Transactions Act.

This Invoice constitutes the final and complete statement of charges for the Oceanographer services described herein. No additional fees or costs shall be incurred beyond the amounts specified. A copy of this Invoice has been filed with the Sri Lanka Inland Revenue Department for tax compliance purposes.
