Invoice Notes & Payment Instructions
1. This Invoice is issued by Professor Émile Deschamps in his capacity as an independent academic consultant engaged by Conseil Économique du Grand Montréal Inc. All services described herein were performed within the jurisdiction of Canada Montreal, Quebec, and are subject to applicable provincial and federal tax regulations.
2. Payment of this Invoice is due within thirty (30) calendar days of the Invoice date, no later than July 15, 2025. Please remit payment via electronic funds transfer (EFT) to the following account: Institution – Banque Nationale du Canada; Branch – 00021; Account – 1234567890; Transit – 00021; Reference – INV-2025-MTL-00472.
3. A late payment fee of 1.5% per month (or the maximum rate permitted under the Quebec Civil Code) will be applied to any outstanding balance on this Invoice after the due date. The Professor reserves the right to suspend ongoing consulting services until full payment is received.
4. All intellectual property, including the policy white paper, keynote materials, and analytical models produced under this engagement, shall remain the exclusive property of the Professor unless otherwise stated in the signed Master Services Agreement dated February 1, 2025. The client is granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the deliverables for internal purposes within Canada Montreal.
5. Should the client require any corrections, clarifications, or a duplicate copy of this Invoice, please contact the Professor's administrative office at the address listed above. All disputes arising from this Invoice shall be governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.
6. This Invoice constitutes the final and complete statement of all professional services rendered by the Professor during the period of March 1, 2025, through June 10, 2025. No additional charges will be incurred beyond the amounts specified herein.
