Important Notes
This invoice is issued in accordance with the Ethiopian Commercial Code and the Federal Revenue Authority's invoicing regulations. The Professor's services are rendered under a professional engagement contract (Ref: EDR-CON-2025-089) executed in Addis Ababa.
Payment is due within fifteen (15) calendar days from the date of issue. Late payments shall attract a penalty of 1.5% per month as stipulated in the engagement agreement.
Terms & Conditions of This Invoice
- This invoice constitutes a formal request for payment for academic and professional services rendered by Professor Dawit Tadesse Alemu in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, during the period of March 2025 through May 2025.
- All services described herein were performed in full compliance with the Ethiopian Higher Education Proclamation (No. 816/2013) and the relevant professional conduct guidelines of Addis Ababa University.
- The Professor retains full intellectual property rights over all original research outputs, lecture materials, and analytical frameworks developed during the engagement, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- Any dispute arising from this invoice shall be resolved through the Addis Ababa City Court or, at the mutual discretion of both parties, through arbitration under the Ethiopian Arbitration and Conciliation Proclamation (No. 1228/2020).
- This invoice is valid for a period of ninety (90) days from the date of issue. After this period, the client must request a re-issued invoice from the Professor's office in Addis Ababa.
- The client acknowledges that the Professor's engagement does not create an employer-employee relationship. The Professor operates as an independent academic professional providing services to the client institution.
