Notes and Terms of Service
1. This Invoice is issued by Professor Marco Aurelio Castellani in his capacity as an independent academic consultant and visiting lecturer engaged by the Accademia Internazionale di Studi, S.r.l., Rome, Italy. All services described herein were performed in accordance with the written engagement contract dated 20 February 2025 (Contract Ref. AIST-2025-012).
2. The Professor warrants that all academic content, lecture materials, workshop curricula, and editorial assessments delivered under this Invoice are original works prepared specifically for the Client, unless otherwise noted. Intellectual property rights to course materials remain with the Professor, while the Client retains a non-exclusive license to use such materials for internal academic purposes within the Accademia.
3. All services were rendered in Rome, Italy, and are subject to Italian tax law. The applicable Value Added Tax (IVA) rate of 22% has been applied as mandated by the Agenzia delle Entrate. This Invoice is issued in compliance with Article 21 of the Italian Presidential Decree 633/1972 and the electronic invoicing requirements of the Sistema di Interscambio (SdI).
4. The Client acknowledges that the Professor’s engagement is on a freelance, non-employee basis. No social security contributions, pension deductions, or employment-related withholdings apply to this Invoice. The Professor is responsible for his own tax obligations as a self-employed professional (lavoratore autonomo) registered with the INPS Gestione Separata.
5. Any disputes arising from this Invoice or the underlying services shall be governed by the laws of the Italian Republic and shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Rome (Tribunale di Roma).
6. This Invoice is valid for a period of 12 months from the date of issue. After this period, the Client is requested to confirm in writing whether the balance remains outstanding.
