Terms: Full payment is due within thirty (30) calendar days of the date of issue of this Invoice, as per the terms agreed in the Master Services Contract dated 1 January 2025 between Professor Whitfield and Thames Metropolitan Business Group Ltd. Late payments shall attract interest at the rate of 4% per annum above the Bank of England base rate, in accordance with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998, as applicable in the United Kingdom.
Disputes: Any queries or disputes regarding this Invoice must be raised in writing within fourteen (14) days of receipt. Please direct all correspondence to the billing office at the University of London address stated above.
Notes:
1. This Invoice has been issued in accordance with the requirements of HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC), United Kingdom, and the Value Added Tax Act 1994. All amounts are stated in British Pounds Sterling (GBP).
2. Professor Whitfield's services are provided in a personal capacity as an independent academic consultant. The University of London is not a party to this commercial arrangement, though the academic credentials and research affiliations referenced herein are maintained through the institution.
3. All intellectual property rights in the written report referenced in Line Item 02 shall vest in Thames Metropolitan Business Group Ltd upon full and final settlement of this Invoice, subject to the Professor retaining the right to cite the work in future academic publications with appropriate attribution.
4. This document constitutes a valid tax invoice for the purposes of VAT recovery in the United Kingdom. The client is advised to retain this Invoice for a minimum period of six (6) years in compliance with UK tax record-keeping obligations.
