Invoice Notes & Payment Instructions
1. This Invoice is issued by Dr. Margaret Chen, a licensed Statistician operating under the professional standards of the Statistical Society of Canada and the Ontario Professional Engineers and Geoscientists regulatory framework. All statistical analyses referenced in this Invoice were conducted in full compliance with the Canadian Statistics Act and applicable data privacy legislation, including the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).
2. Payment for this Invoice is due within thirty (30) calendar days of the issue date, no later than July 15, 2025. 3. The Statistician reserves the right to issue a revised Invoice should any scope changes be approved in writing by the client's authorized representative. All rates quoted in this Invoice are in Canadian Dollars (CAD) and are inclusive of the Statistician's professional expertise, software licensing (R, SAS, Python), and travel within the Canada Toronto metropolitan area.
4. Late payments on this Invoice will incur a penalty interest charge of 1.5% per month, in accordance with the Ontario Interest Act. The Statistician may suspend ongoing services if payment remains outstanding beyond fifteen (15) days past the due date.
5. All deliverables, including statistical models, code repositories, and the final report, are the intellectual property of the client upon full payment of this Invoice. The Statistician retains the right to reference the engagement in professional portfolios with client written consent.
6. This Invoice is governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes arising from this Invoice shall be resolved through arbitration in Canada Toronto in accordance with the Arbitration Act, 1991 (Ontario).
