Terms and Conditions of This Invoice
- Payment Due Date: Full payment of R 202,745.00 (Two Hundred and Two Thousand Seven Hundred and Forty-Five Rand) is due within fifteen (15) calendar days from the date of this Invoice, i.e., no later than 30 June 2025.
- Payment Method: Payment shall be made via electronic funds transfer (EFT) to the following account: Mokoena Statistical Consulting (Pty) Ltd, FNB Account No: 6284519037, Branch Code: 250655, Reference: INV-2025-04871. All payments must be made in South African Rand (ZAR).
- Late Payment: In the event of non-payment by the due date, interest shall accrue at the rate of 1.5% per month on the outstanding balance, in accordance with the National Credit Act of South Africa. The Statistician reserves the right to suspend all ongoing and future services until the account is settled in full.
- Scope of Work: All statistical analyses, modelling, and reporting services described in this Invoice were performed by the undersigned Statistician in accordance with the professional standards set by the South African Statistical Association (SASA) and the International Biometric Society. The Statistician warrants that all methodologies applied are appropriate, reproducible, and conform to accepted statistical practice.
- Intellectual Property: Upon full and final payment of this Invoice, all deliverables including statistical reports, code, models, and data visualisations become the property of the Atlantic Coastal Research Institute. The Statistician retains the right to reference the engagement in professional portfolios and academic publications, subject to the client's prior written consent for any confidential data.
- Governing Law: This Invoice and all associated services are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes arising from this Invoice shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Western Cape Division, Cape Town, South Africa.
- Confidentiality: The Statistician undertakes to maintain strict confidentiality regarding all data, findings, and proprietary information provided by the client during the course of this engagement, in compliance with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) of South Africa.
- Revisions: One (1) round of minor revisions to the final statistical report is included in this Invoice. Additional revisions or scope changes beyond the original brief will be quoted separately and require written approval from both parties before commencement.
