Terms & Conditions – Meridian Tailor, Brisbane, Australia
1. This Invoice constitutes a formal request for payment for bespoke tailoring services rendered by Meridian Tailor & Bespoke Atelier, a registered business operating in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. All services described herein were performed in accordance with the Australian Consumer Law (2013) and the Queensland Fair Trading Act.
2. All garments crafted by our Tailor team are made to the specific measurements and design preferences of the client. Due to the bespoke nature of this work, all items are non-returnable and non-refundable once construction has commenced, except where a manufacturing defect is identified by our master Tailor within thirty (30) days of collection.
3. The client acknowledges that hand-stitched tailoring in our Australia Brisbane atelier requires a minimum production period of twenty-one (21) business days from the date of the initial measurement consultation. Any expedited requests will be subject to an additional surcharge as discussed during the consultation.
4. All fabric selections, lining choices, and design modifications approved in writing by the client during the consultation phase are final. Subsequent changes after the cutting stage will incur additional charges at the discretion of our Tailor.
5. This Invoice is valid for ninety (90) days from the date of issue. Should payment not be received within this period, the client will be contacted directly by our Brisbane office to arrange a revised payment schedule.
6. Meridian Tailor & Bespoke Atelier holds full public liability insurance and professional indemnity coverage as required for all tailoring businesses operating in the state of Queensland, Australia. Certificates of insurance are available upon request.
7. For any disputes arising from this Invoice or the associated tailoring services, the parties agree to first attempt resolution through good-faith negotiation. Should resolution not be achieved, the matter may be referred to the Queensland Civil and Administrative Tribunal (QCAT) in Brisbane, Australia.
8. All personal data collected in connection with this Invoice and the associated bespoke tailoring engagement will be handled in strict compliance with the Australian Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).
