Invoice Notes & Tailor Remarks
Dear Mr. Whitfield, thank you for entrusting Stitch & Thread Tailor with the care of your garments. All alterations listed on this Invoice were performed in our dedicated workshop located in the heart of Canada Toronto, where our Master Tailor and team of skilled fitters ensure every stitch meets the highest standard of craftsmanship.
Please note that the bespoke suit alteration (Item 1) included a full shoulder pad replacement and a 2.5 cm taper at the waist to achieve the precise silhouette you requested during your fitting session on June 5, 2025. The vintage overcoat re-lining (Item 3) required sourcing a matching silk lining from our supplier in the Toronto garment district, which added two additional business days to the turnaround.
All workmanship is guaranteed for a period of ninety (90) days from the date of this Invoice. Should you notice any thread unraveling, seam distress, or hardware failure within this window, please bring the garment back to our Canada Toronto location for complimentary rework. This Invoice serves as your proof of service and warranty eligibility.
Payment is due within fourteen (14) calendar days of the Invoice date. We accept Visa, Mastercard, Interac e-Transfer, and certified cheques made payable to Stitch & Thread Tailor Inc. For corporate or bulk tailoring orders exceeding $2,000 CAD, we offer net-30 payment terms upon prior arrangement.
Terms & Conditions
1. This Invoice is issued in accordance with the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) billing requirements and the Ontario Business Practices and Consumer Protection Act. All prices are quoted in Canadian Dollars (CAD) and include applicable HST as mandated by the Province of Ontario.
2. Stitch & Thread Tailor reserves the right to refuse any garment that presents structural damage beyond the scope of standard tailoring repair. In such cases, a revised Invoice reflecting additional materials and labour will be issued for client approval before work commences.
3. All garments must be collected within thirty (30) days of the completion date noted on this Invoice. After this period, a storage fee of $5.00 per garment per week will apply, and liability for damage or loss will transfer to the client.
4. This Invoice constitutes a binding agreement between the client and Stitch & Thread Tailor for the specific tailoring services described herein. Any modifications, additions, or cancellations after the work has begun will be subject to a minimum charge of $50.00 CAD.
