Notes from the Tailor
Dear Mr. Perera, thank you for entrusting Colombo Tailor & Bespoke Atelier with your bespoke tailoring requirements. All garments listed in this invoice have been crafted by our master tailors in Sri Lanka Colombo using traditional hand-finishing techniques combined with modern precision cutting. The wedding sherwani (Item 05) is scheduled for final delivery on 20 June 2025, and a complimentary final fitting will be arranged at our Sri Lanka Colombo workshop. Please ensure you attend the fitting with the exact footwear you intend to wear with the trousers. All bespoke items carry a 90-day workmanship warranty from the date of delivery. We remain at your disposal for any further tailoring needs.
Terms and Conditions
- This invoice is issued by Colombo Tailor & Bespoke Atelier, a registered tailoring business operating in Sri Lanka Colombo, and is valid for payment within fourteen (14) calendar days from the date of issue.
- All tailoring services described herein are subject to the final fitting approval by the client at the Sri Lanka Colombo workshop. Alterations beyond the agreed scope will be invoiced separately.
- Payment is due in full by 28 June 2025. A late payment surcharge of 2% per month will be applied to any outstanding balance after the due date.
- The 90-day workmanship warranty covers defects in stitching, construction, and finishing only. It does not cover damage caused by improper care, washing, or storage.
- Client-supplied fabrics (as noted in Items 03 and 07) are the sole responsibility of the client. The tailor in Sri Lanka Colombo shall not be liable for any shrinkage, colour bleeding, or pre-existing defects in client-provided materials.
- All measurements taken during the fitting process at the Colombo Tailor workshop are the property of the business and may be retained for future reference with the client's written consent.
- Disputes arising from this invoice shall be resolved under the laws of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka, with jurisdiction in the Colombo District Court, Sri Lanka Colombo.
- This invoice constitutes a legally binding document between the parties. No verbal amendments to the scope of tailoring work or pricing shall be valid unless confirmed in writing by both parties.
