Payment Instructions
This Invoice must be settled in full within thirty (30) calendar days from the issue date, as stipulated under Colombian commercial law (Código de Comercio, Articles 877–880). Payment shall be made via electronic bank transfer (EFT) to the Bancolombia account listed above, or by check payable to Dr. Alejandro Ramírez Torres. All transactions are processed in Colombian Pesos (COP) at the official exchange rate published by the Banco de la República on the date of payment. Late payments are subject to a monthly interest rate equal to the maximum rate established by the Superintendencia Financiera de Colombia, currently 12.5% per annum, in accordance with Article 878 of the Colombian Commercial Code.
Terms, Conditions & Legal Notes
- This Invoice is issued in compliance with the tax regulations of the Dirección de Impuestos y Aduanas Nacionales (DIAN) of Colombia. The University Lecturer is registered as a natural person (persona natural) with a valid NIT and is subject to the general tax regime in Bogotá, D.C.
- The services described herein were rendered exclusively within the jurisdiction of Bogotá, Distrito Capital, Colombia. The applicable value-added tax (IVA) rate of 19% is applied in accordance with Article 422 of the Colombian Tax Statute (Estatuto Tributario).
