Terms and Conditions of This Invoice
This Invoice is issued by the undersigned University Lecturer in fulfillment of the academic service contract (Reference: AAU/CBE/LEC/2024/0891) governing the professional engagement of the University Lecturer at Addis Ababa University, located in Ethiopia Addis Ababa. The following terms apply to the settlement of this Invoice:
- Payment of this Invoice shall be made within fifteen (15) calendar days from the date of issue via bank transfer to the Commercial Bank of Ethiopia account specified above. Late payments shall attract a penalty of 2% per month as stipulated under the Ethiopian Civil Code and the university's financial regulations.
- All rates quoted in this Invoice are in Ethiopian Birr (ETB) and are subject to the prevailing tax regulations of the Ethiopian Revenue and Customs Authority. The University Lecturer is registered under the personal TIN indicated above for all fiscal purposes in Ethiopia Addis Ababa.
- The services described in this Invoice were rendered exclusively within the academic premises of Addis Ababa University and affiliated institutions in Ethiopia Addis Ababa during the specified academic year. No services were performed outside the jurisdiction of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia.
- Any disputes arising from this Invoice shall be resolved through the internal grievance mechanism of Addis Ababa University before escalation to the relevant Ethiopian judicial authorities in Addis Ababa.
- This Invoice constitutes the final and complete statement of all University Lecturer services rendered during the stated period. No additional claims shall be entertained beyond the items itemized herein.
- The University Lecturer confirms that all academic work, including lecture materials, examination papers, and research supervision outputs referenced in this Invoice, remains the intellectual property of Addis Ababa University in accordance with Ethiopian academic policy.
