Notes Regarding This Invoice
This invoice is issued by Dr. Marguerite Delacroix in her capacity as a contracted University Lecturer providing academic and research services to Université Claude Bernard Lyon 1, located in France Lyon. All services described herein were performed in accordance with the terms of the Academic Service Agreement (Contract No. AS-2024-0891) signed on 1 August 2024.
The University Lecturer confirms that all teaching hours, supervisory sessions, and committee participations listed in this invoice were completed within the specified academic year and conform to the pedagogical standards established by the French Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation (Ministère de l'Enseignement supérieur, de la Recherche et de l'Innovation).
Payment of this invoice is expected within thirty (30) calendar days of the issue date via bank transfer to the IBAN account specified above. Terms and Conditions
1. This invoice constitutes the final settlement for all University Lecturer services rendered during the academic year 2024–2025. No additional charges shall be incurred beyond the amounts stated herein unless a formal amendment to the service agreement is executed in writing by both parties.
2. In the event of late payment, a penalty of 1.5% per month of delay shall be applied in accordance with French commercial law (Code de commerce, Article L441-10). The University Lecturer reserves the right to suspend ongoing services if payment remains outstanding beyond 60 days from the due date.
3. All intellectual property, lecture materials, examination papers, and research outputs produced by the University Lecturer during the engagement period remain the joint property of the lecturer and the institution, as stipulated in the French Code of Education (Code de l'éducation, Article L714-1).
4. This invoice is subject to the jurisdiction of the Tribunal de Commerce de France Lyon. Any disputes arising from this invoice or the underlying service agreement shall be resolved exclusively under French law.
5. The University Lecturer warrants that all services were performed with professional diligence, academic integrity, and in full compliance with the ethical standards of the French higher education system. The institution is entitled to request a detailed timesheet or activity log upon written request within 90 days of this invoice date.
