1. Payment for this Invoice shall be made within thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue, i.e., no later than 15th July 2025. The University Lecturer services described herein were rendered in full during the stated service period at the University of Dar es Salaam, Tanzania Dar es Salaam.
2. Payment shall be remitted via bank transfer to the following account: Bank of Tanzania, Account Name: Dr. Amina M. Hassan, Account Number: 0045-8821-3367, Branch: Dar es Salaam Central, SWIFT: BOTZTZDA. All payments must reference the Invoice number UDSM-LEC-2025-0047.
3. In the event of late payment, a penalty interest of 2% per month shall be applied to the outstanding balance, in accordance with the Tanzania Contract Act, Cap. 345, and the terms of the University Lecturer service agreement signed on 1st January 2025.
4. The University Lecturer reserves the right to suspend ongoing academic services, including lectures, supervision, and consultancy engagements at the University of Dar es Salaam, if payment remains outstanding beyond the due date by more than fourteen (14) days.
5. This Invoice is subject to the Tanzania Revenue Authority (TRA) regulations. The University Lecturer is registered as a VAT-registered service provider in Tanzania Dar es Salaam under TIN TZ-8842-7719-003. A valid VAT receipt shall be issued upon confirmation of payment.
6. Any disputes arising from this Invoice or the associated University Lecturer services shall be resolved through mediation at the Tanzania Dar es Salaam Arbitration Centre before escalation to the High Court of Tanzania, Dar es Salaam.
