Veterinarian Notes & Recommendations
Dear Dr. Osman, thank you for entrusting Simba's care to our Veterinarian team at Nile Valley Veterinarian Clinic in Sudan Khartoum. Based on the diagnostic findings, Simba has been diagnosed with a mild bacterial cystitis (lower urinary tract infection) with no evidence of urolithiasis or structural renal disease. The prescribed antibiotic course must be completed in full even if symptoms improve before the 14-day period ends.
The Veterinarian strongly recommends increasing Simba's daily water intake by providing fresh water in multiple locations and considering a water fountain. The therapeutic diet should be continued for a minimum of three months to stabilize urinary pH. A follow-up urinalysis is scheduled for 29 June 2025 to confirm complete resolution of the infection.
Should Simba exhibit any of the following warning signs before the follow-up appointment—straining without urination, blood in urine, lethargy, or vomiting—please contact our emergency Veterinarian line immediately at +249-183-555-0142. Our Sudan Khartoum clinic maintains a 24-hour emergency response team for urgent veterinary cases.
