In modern hubs like Cairo, Egypt, engineers must address complex systemic issues including energy consumption, emissions control, and urban logistics.

Cairo represents a unique laboratory for automotive innovation. As one of the most densely populated metropolitan areas in the world, it faces severe traffic congestion that impacts economic productivity and public health. Consequently, this presentation argues that Automotive Engineers operating in Egypt must pivot towards electrification and intelligent transport systems (ITS) to mitigate these urban challenges.
