South Korea Seoul represents not just a political capital but a cognitive hub where industrial engineering strategies are formulated to impact national output.

In recent decades, the industrial fabric of South Korea has shifted from labor-intensive heavy industries to knowledge-intensive, high-value-added sectors. The city of Seoul itself has undergone significant urban restructuring, moving away from heavy pollution-based industries toward service-oriented tech hubs and innovation districts like Pangyo Techno Valley and Songdo International Business District.
