• Pediatric Rehabilitation: With increasing diagnoses of autism spectrum disorder and developmental delays in urban schools across Cairo, OTs are crucial in developing sensory integration therapies that respect family dynamics.
• Vocational Rehabilitation: Given the high youth unemployment rate, OTs play a pivotal role in workplace ergonomics and job coaching, helping individuals with disabilities reintegrate into the workforce in sectors ranging from manufacturing to IT hubs emerging along the New Administrative Capital’s influence zone.
