The rising middle class in China Guangzhou has led to increased awareness of dental aesthetics, driving a significant increase in orthodontic consultations. However, with this rise comes the challenge of ensuring that standard of care remains high amidst rapid market expansion.

The primary objective is to evaluate how local Orthodontist practices adapt global standards while addressing the unique phenotypic characteristics and cultural expectations prevalent in Southern China Guangzhou. By focusing on this specific region, we highlight a microcosm of broader trends affecting orthodontics across Asia.

This study employs a mixed-methods approach combining retrospective clinical data analysis with patient satisfaction surveys. Data was collected over a 36-month period from three major tertiary hospitals in China Guangzhou. The sample size included 1,500 patients undergoing orthodontic treatment.
