This academic poster presentation aims to analyze the current state of welder proficiency and technological adoption in Tehran and propose a framework for modernization that aligns with global safety standards while respecting local industrial constraints.

Despite the critical role of welding in Tehran's infrastructure development, recent studies indicate a significant gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application among local welders. The primary issues identified include:

  • Occupational Health Hazards:Inadequate ventilation systems in older industrial zones of Tehran lead to high concentrations of fumes , exposing welders to severe respiratory risks.
