Phase 1: Capacity Building and Stakeholder Engagement (Months 1-6)

These workshops will ensure that the voices of teachers from public schools are heard alongside those from private institutions. The goal is to build consensus on the direction of curriculum reform.

Phase 2: Development and Drafting (Months 7-18)
This phase involves the actual drafting of new curricular frameworks. Curriculum Developers will work in thematic teams focusing on STEM, humanities, and languages. Special attention will be paid to integrating mother-tongue based instruction where appropriate, acknowledging Nepal's linguistic diversity even within the urban center of Kathmandu.

Phase 3: Evaluation and Rollout (Months 19-24)
The final phase focuses on rigorous testing. Pilot schools in Nepal Kathmandu will adopt the new framework. Curriculum Developers will monitor progress closely, adjusting content based on performance metrics and teacher feedback before a wider regional rollout.

Another challenge is resource disparity. While schools in central Kathmandu may have smart boards and internet access, those on the outskirts may lack basic infrastructure. The Curriculum Developer must design flexible curricula that can be delivered via low-tech solutions such as radio broadcasts or printed workbooks, ensuring equity remains a core value of the project.
