In this context, the Customs Officer is not merely a gatekeeper but a pivotal agent of economic stability and national security. The traditional methods employed by Customs Officers are increasingly insufficient to address modern threats such as smuggling of high-value goods, illicit financial flows, and non-compliance with international safety standards. Therefore, this Project Report aims to define a roadmap for transforming the Customs Officer’s role in Ivory Coast Abidjan into a model of efficiency and transparency.

An assessment of the current landscape reveals several critical bottlenecks that hinder the effectiveness of Customs Officers in Abidjan:

• Bureaucratic Delays: Manual processing times often result in significant congestion at port terminals, leading to increased demurrage costs and logistical inefficiencies.
• Cybersecurity Threats: As trade digitization increases, Customs Officers face rising risks related to digital fraud and data integrity issues.
