The scope of this project was geographically limited to Dar es Salaam due to its high concentration of media houses, including major national newspapers, television stations, and radio networks. By focusing efforts here, we aimed to create a ripple effect that would eventually influence media practices across other regions of Tanzania.

The project was guided by three core objectives designed to empower the local press:
