4.1 This Purchase Order constitutes a formal and binding request for the supply of goods and services as itemised above. The Academic Researcher, Dr. Kwame Asante-Mensah, shall be the primary recipient and custodian of all procured items for the duration of the funded research project conducted in and around Ghana Accra.
4.2 All goods must be delivered to the University of Ghana, Legon Campus, Accra, Ghana, unless otherwise specified in the delivery deadline column. The supplier shall bear all transportation and insurance costs up to the point of delivery in Accra.
4.3 Payment shall be made within thirty (30) calendar days of receipt of a valid tax invoice from the supplier, subject to satisfactory inspection and acceptance of all items by the Academic Researcher and the University Procurement Office in Accra.
4.4 The supplier warrants that all electronic equipment is new, unused, and carries a minimum manufacturer's warranty of twelve (12) months. Any defective items must be replaced within fourteen (14) days of notification by the Academic Researcher.
4.5 This Purchase Order is subject to the procurement policies of the University of Ghana and the financial regulations of the West African Academy of Sciences. Any amendments must be made in writing and signed by both parties.
4.6 The supplier acknowledges that the procured materials are intended exclusively for academic research purposes in Ghana Accra and shall not be resold or diverted without written consent from the University.
4.7 In the event of a dispute, both parties agree to resolve matters through mediation in Accra, Ghana, in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Ghana.
NOTE: This Purchase Order has been reviewed and approved by the Departmental Head, Faculty of Social Sciences, and the University Procurement Committee. The Academic Researcher is authorised to receive, inspect, and sign for all items upon delivery at the Legon Campus, Accra, Ghana.
