Terms & Conditions
- This Purchase Order is issued by Dr. Elena Marchetti, Academic Researcher at Sapienza University of Rome, and constitutes a binding procurement request for the supply of laboratory equipment and research materials to be delivered to the designated facility in Italy Rome.
- All items listed in this Purchase Order must comply with European Union Directive 2014/32/EU (Medical Devices) where applicable, and must meet the quality standards required for peer-reviewed academic research conducted in Italy Rome.
- Delivery shall be made DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) to the Academic Researcher's laboratory at Sapienza University of Rome, Piazzale Aldo Moro 5, 00185 Rome, Italy. The supplier is responsible for all transportation, insurance, and customs clearance within Italy Rome.
- Installation, calibration, and initial operational training for all major equipment items (Items 1–4) shall be performed by certified technicians at the buyer's facility in Italy Rome within fifteen (15) business days of delivery. Training sessions shall be conducted in English and Italian to accommodate the full Academic Researcher team.
- Payment shall be made via bank transfer to the supplier's designated account within forty-five (45) calendar days of receipt of a valid invoice and confirmation of satisfactory delivery and installation. The Academic Researcher's office will process payment through the Sapienza University of Rome central accounting department.
- All equipment is warranted for a minimum of twenty-four (24) months from the date of installation in Italy Rome. The supplier shall provide on-site technical support within forty-eight (48) hours for any warranty claims arising during the warranty period.
- This Purchase Order is subject to the Italian Civil Code (Codice Civile) and applicable procurement regulations of the Italian Republic. Any disputes shall be resolved under the jurisdiction of the competent courts in Rome, Italy.
- The Academic Researcher reserves the right to inspect all delivered goods upon arrival at the Italy Rome facility. Any items found to be damaged, defective, or non-conforming to the specifications stated in this Purchase Order shall be replaced at the supplier's sole expense within ten (10) business days.
- Confidentiality: All research data, methodologies, and project details associated with this Purchase Order are classified as confidential. The supplier shall not disclose any information pertaining to the Academic Researcher's ongoing projects to third parties without prior written consent.
- This Purchase Order becomes effective upon signature by both parties and remains valid until the expiration date stated above. Any amendments must be made in writing and signed by both the Academic Researcher and the authorized representative of the supplier.
