All items under this Purchase Order shall be delivered to the Yangon University of Natural Sciences, Insein Township, Myanmar Yangon, no later than 30 July 2025. The supplier is responsible for all transportation, insurance, and handling costs within the Yangon metropolitan area. Installation and calibration of all equipment must be completed within five (5) business days of delivery. The Academic Researcher or a designated representative from the Research Division must be present during installation to verify functionality and sign the delivery acceptance form. Any damage discovered upon delivery must be reported to the supplier within forty-eight (48) hours.
- Payment Method: Bank transfer to the supplier's designated account at CB Bank, Yangon Branch, Myanmar.
- Advance Payment: 40% of the total Purchase Order value (MMK 15,590,400) shall be paid within seven (7) business days of the supplier's written acknowledgment of this Purchase Order.
- Balance Payment: The remaining 60% (MMK 23,385,600) shall be paid within fourteen (14) business days following successful delivery, installation, calibration, and written acceptance by the Academic Researcher and the Head of Research Procurement.
- Currency: All payments shall be made in Myanmar Kyat (MMK). In the event of foreign-currency-denominated equipment, the exchange rate shall be the official rate published by the Central Bank of Myanmar on the date of invoice.
- Penalty for Late Payment: A penalty of 1.5% per month shall apply to any overdue balance, in accordance with Myanmar commercial law.
- This Purchase Order constitutes a binding agreement between the Purchasing Party and the Supplier upon signature by both authorized representatives.
- All equipment must carry a minimum manufacturer's warranty of two (2) years from the date of installation. The Academic Researcher shall be entitled to free repair or replacement during the warranty period.
- The Supplier warrants that all items are new, unused, and free from defects. Any counterfeit or substandard product discovered will result in immediate rejection and full refund.
- This Purchase Order is subject to the laws of the Republic of Myanmar. Any disputes arising from this transaction shall be resolved through the Yangon District Court or, at the mutual agreement of both parties, through arbitration under the Myanmar Arbitration Law.
- The Academic Researcher retains full intellectual property rights over all data, findings, and publications generated using the equipment procured under this Purchase Order.
- Neither party may assign or transfer this Purchase Order to a third party without prior written consent of the other party.
- This Purchase Order is valid for acceptance within ten (10) calendar days from the date of issue. Failure to accept within this period shall render this document null and void.
- All communications regarding this Purchase Order shall be directed to the contact persons listed in Section 1 and conducted in English or Burmese.
