- This Purchase Order is issued by the Academic Researcher, Dr. Sunita Sharma, under the authority of Tribhuvan University, Kathmandu, Nepal, for the procurement of scientific instruments, laboratory consumables, and professional services required for the ongoing environmental research project titled "Urban Air and Water Quality Assessment in the Kathmandu Valley, Nepal."
- The supplier shall deliver all items to the designated laboratory at the Faculty of Science, Thapathali Marg, Kathmandu 44600, Nepal, within thirty (30) calendar days from the date of this Purchase Order. Delivery within the Nepal Kathmandu metropolitan area is included in the quoted price.
- All instruments must be new, unused, and accompanied by valid manufacturer warranties of no less than twenty-four (24) months. The Academic Researcher reserves the right to inspect and test each item upon arrival at the Kathmandu campus before accepting delivery.
- Payment shall be made via bank transfer to the supplier's designated account within thirty (30) days of receipt of a valid tax invoice and confirmed delivery. The payment will be processed through Nabil Bank, Kathmandu Branch, in accordance with the financial regulations of Tribhuvan University, Nepal.
- The supplier is responsible for the installation, initial calibration, and training of the Academic Researcher's laboratory staff on the operation of all delivered equipment. Training sessions shall be conducted at the Kathmandu campus and shall not exceed five (5) working days.
- Any delay in delivery beyond the stipulated period shall attract a penalty of 0.5% of the total Purchase Order value per day of delay, up to a maximum of 10%. Delays exceeding fifteen (15) days entitle the Academic Researcher and the institution to cancel this Purchase Order without penalty.
- All transactions are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Nepal. Any disputes arising from this Purchase Order shall be resolved through the competent courts in Kathmandu, Nepal. The supplier acknowledges that this Purchase Order is subject to the Public Procurement Act, 2064 (2007) of Nepal and the regulations of the Public Procurement Monitoring Office (PPMO), Kathmandu.
- The Academic Researcher, in collaboration with the Head of Department, shall serve as the primary point of contact for all technical queries, delivery coordination, and post-delivery support related to this Purchase Order. All correspondence regarding this order shall be directed to the Kathmandu office address listed above.
- This Purchase Order is valid only for the items and quantities specified herein. Any modification, addition, or cancellation must be documented in writing and signed by both the Academic Researcher (or authorized institutional representative) and the supplier's authorized signatory.
