- This Purchase Order is issued by the University of Karachi, Pakistan Karachi, and constitutes a binding procurement agreement upon acceptance by the supplier. The Academic Researcher, Dr. Ayesha Khan, is the designated end-user and technical authority for all items listed herein.
- Delivery of all items shall be completed within 30 calendar days from the date of this Purchase Order. The delivery location is the University of Karachi campus, Item-Karsaz Road, Pakistan Karachi. The supplier is responsible for all transportation, unloading, and on-site installation within the Karachi metropolitan area.
- Payment shall be made via bank transfer to the supplier's designated account within 15 working days of successful delivery, installation, and written acceptance by the Academic Researcher and the Departmental Head. A 10% advance payment may be released upon submission of a valid Performance Bank Guarantee from a national bank operating in Pakistan Karachi.
- All equipment must be new, unused, and of the latest model year. The Academic Researcher reserves the right to inspect and test each item upon delivery. Any item found defective, substandard, or not matching the specifications in this Purchase Order shall be replaced at the supplier's sole cost within 7 working days.
- The supplier shall provide a comprehensive installation, calibration, and operator training session for the Academic Researcher and laboratory staff at the University of Karachi, Pakistan Karachi. Training materials in both English and Urdu shall be provided.
- Warranty: All capital equipment carries a minimum 24-month comprehensive warranty from the date of acceptance. Consumables and PPE items are non-returnable once opened. The Academic Researcher shall report any warranty claims in writing to the supplier's service center in Karachi.
- This Purchase Order is governed by the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. Any disputes arising from this Purchase Order shall be resolved through arbitration in Karachi, Sindh, in accordance with the Arbitration Act, 1940. The jurisdiction of the courts of Pakistan Karachi shall apply.
- The supplier acknowledges that this Purchase Order is part of a federally funded research grant and is subject to audit by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan. All invoices and delivery challans must be retained for a minimum of 7 years.
- Force Majeure: Neither party shall be liable for delays caused by natural disasters, government-imposed lockdowns, or events beyond reasonable control, provided written notice is given within 48 hours of the event occurring in Pakistan Karachi or elsewhere.
