Terms and Conditions
- Payment Terms: Payment shall be made within thirty (30) calendar days from the date of invoice issuance, via bank transfer to the supplier's account in Lima, Peru. The Academic Researcher's institution will process payment through its central accounting office at the Universidad Nacional de Ingeniería.
- Delivery: All physical items shall be delivered to the Universidad Nacional de Ingeniería campus in San Borja, Lima, Peru, within twenty (20) business days from the date of this Purchase Order. The supplier is responsible for all transportation, insurance, and customs clearance within the Lima metropolitan area.
- Warranty: All equipment shall carry a minimum of twenty-four (24) months of manufacturer warranty, with on-site service coverage in Lima, Peru. Software licenses are valid for the stated subscription period from the date of activation.
- Academic Use Clause: All items procured under this Purchase Order are designated exclusively for academic research purposes. The Academic Researcher (Dra. Quispe Torres) assumes responsibility for the proper use, maintenance, and eventual disposition of all equipment in accordance with CONCYTEC grant regulations and Peruvian public procurement law (Ley N° 30225 and its regulations).
- Acceptance: The Academic Researcher shall inspect all delivered items within five (5) business days of receipt at the Lima campus. Any defects, shortages, or non-conformities must be reported in writing to the supplier within this period.
- Intellectual Property: All data, models, and research outputs generated using the equipment procured under this Purchase Order shall remain the property of the Academic Researcher and the Universidad Nacional de Ingeniería, Lima, Peru.
- Governing Law: This Purchase Order shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the commercial laws of the Republic of Peru. Any disputes shall be resolved in the competent courts of Lima, Peru.
- Force Majeure: Neither party shall be liable for delays caused by natural disasters, government actions, or events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to seismic activity common to the Lima region.
