2. PURPOSE AND CONTEXT

This Purchase Order is issued by the Qatar National Research Institute to procure specialized laboratory equipment, research materials, and technical services required by the designated Academic Researcher, Dr. Layla Al-Mansouri, for the ongoing research project titled "Advanced Nanomaterials for Renewable Energy Applications in the Gulf Region." The Academic Researcher will conduct all experimental work at the QNRI facility located in Doha, Qatar, and the items listed below are essential for the successful completion of the research objectives within the approved fiscal year 2025–2026. This Purchase Order is governed by the procurement regulations of the State of Qatar and the internal procurement policies of QNRI.

4. TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Delivery: All goods and services referenced in this Purchase Order shall be delivered to the designated locations within Doha, Qatar, no later than 30 July 2025. The seller is responsible for all logistics, customs clearance (if applicable for imported components), and insurance during transit within the State of Qatar.
Payment Terms: Payment shall be made in three installments: 30% upon signing of this Purchase Order, 50% upon successful delivery and installation of all equipment, and 20% upon completion of the training session and acceptance by the Academic Researcher. Payment will be processed via bank transfer to the supplier's designated account in Qatar.
Warranty: All equipment shall carry a minimum manufacturer's warranty of 24 months from the date of installation. The Academic Researcher and the QNRI Quality Assurance Unit shall jointly inspect and sign off on all delivered items before final acceptance.
Compliance: The supplier warrants that all goods comply with the standards set by the Qatar Standards and Metrology Organization (QSMO) and applicable international standards (ISO, IEC). All chemical reagents must be accompanied by Safety Data Sheets (SDS) in both Arabic and English.
Intellectual Property: All research data, findings, and publications arising from the use of the procured items by the Academic Researcher shall remain the exclusive property of QNRI. The supplier shall not claim any rights over research outputs generated in Doha, Qatar.
Dispute Resolution: Any disputes arising from this Purchase Order shall be resolved in accordance with the laws of the State of Qatar. The competent courts of Doha shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
Force Majeure: Neither party shall be liable for delays caused by events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government-mandated closures, or supply chain disruptions affecting the Doha region.

NOTE: This Purchase Order is specifically allocated to the Academic Researcher Dr. Layla Al-Mansouri under Project ARD-QTR-2025-114. Any modification, substitution, or reallocation of the listed items requires written approval from the QNRI Director of Research and the Head of the Procurement Department in Doha.
