Note: This Purchase Order is issued specifically to support the work of the designated Academic Researcher, Dr. Abdullah Al-Mutairi, and his research team at King Fahd University of Research & Development in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. All equipment and materials listed herein are procured under the Saudi Research & Development Fund grant and are subject to the terms of the SRDF agreement. The Academic Researcher is the sole authorized recipient and user of all items specified in this Purchase Order.Terms and Conditions
- This Purchase Order is governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Saudi Arabian Standards Organization (SASO) regulations applicable to scientific and laboratory equipment.
- The Supplier shall deliver all items to the designated Academic Researcher's laboratory at King Fahd University, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, no later than the Required Delivery Date stated above. Late delivery shall incur a penalty of 0.5% of the total Purchase Order value per calendar day of delay, capped at 10%.
- All equipment must comply with Saudi Arabian safety standards and carry valid SASO certification. The Academic Researcher reserves the right to reject any item that does not meet the specified technical parameters.
- Payment shall be made via bank transfer to the Supplier's designated account in Saudi Arabia within 45 days of receipt of a valid tax invoice, subject to satisfactory inspection and acceptance by the Academic Researcher and the university's procurement committee.
- The Supplier shall provide a minimum 24-month warranty on all capital equipment (Items 01, 02, 03, 07) from the date of installation and commissioning in Riyadh. The Academic Researcher shall be the primary point of contact for all warranty claims.
- All consumable materials (Items 04, 05, 06) must be delivered with certificates of analysis and must be stored in accordance with Saudi Arabian hazardous materials handling regulations as enforced by the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture.
- The technical training (Item 09) shall be conducted at the university premises in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and shall be tailored to the specific research methodology of the Academic Researcher's project on renewable energy storage materials.
- This Purchase Order does not constitute a binding contract until countersigned by both the authorized representative of the Buyer and the Supplier. Any amendments must be made in writing and approved by the Academic Researcher and the university's finance office.
- Confidentiality: All research data, methodologies, and intellectual property generated through the use of equipment procured under this Purchase Order remain the exclusive property of the Academic Researcher and the university. The Supplier shall not disclose any project-specific information to third parties.
- Disputes arising from this Purchase Order shall be resolved through arbitration in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, in accordance with the rules of the Saudi Center for Commercial Arbitration.
