All items specified in this Purchase Order shall be delivered to the University of Khartoum receiving office, El-Dur campus, Sudan Khartoum, no later than 30 August 2025. The supplier is responsible for all packaging, labeling, and documentation required for customs clearance at the Port of Sudan or Khartoum International Airport. Upon arrival in Sudan Khartoum, the designated Academic Researcher, Dr. Amal Ibrahim Hassan, or her authorized laboratory assistant, shall inspect all items within five (5) business days. A written acceptance or rejection notice must be submitted to the supplier within that period. Any items found damaged, incomplete, or non-conforming to the specifications outlined in this Purchase Order shall be replaced or refunded at the supplier's sole expense.
Payment for this Purchase Order shall be made via irrevocable letter of credit issued by the National Bank of Sudan, Khartoum branch, in favor of Global Scientific Instruments Ltd. The total amount of $56,510.00 USD (or its equivalent in Sudanese Pounds at the Central Bank of Sudan's prevailing exchange rate on the date of payment) shall be disbursed within forty-five (45) calendar days following the Academic Researcher's written confirmation of satisfactory delivery and installation in Sudan Khartoum. No interest or late fees shall accrue on payments made within the stipulated period. The University reserves the right to withhold payment for any items that fail to meet the quality standards defined in this Purchase Order.
The supplier warrants that all equipment and materials delivered under this Purchase Order shall be new, unused, and free from defects in materials and workmanship for a minimum period of twenty-four (24) months from the date of acceptance in Sudan Khartoum. The Academic Researcher's institution shall not be held liable for any operational failures attributable to manufacturing defects. This Purchase Order shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of the Sudan, with any disputes to be resolved through arbitration in Khartoum, Sudan Khartoum, in accordance with the Sudanese Arbitration Act.
