The Aerospace Engineer engaged under this Purchase Order shall deliver the following within the Australia Melbourne operational framework:

  • Complete structural finite element analysis of the A320neo derivative wing-box assembly, delivering a certified engineering report within 90 days of commencement.
  • Perform computational fluid dynamics (CFD) simulations for the new high-lift device configuration, with results validated against wind tunnel data obtained at the Melbourne University Aerospace Research Centre.
  • Prepare and submit all necessary technical documentation to CASA for type certificate amendment, ensuring full compliance with AS 21 and AS 25 regulations.
  • Conduct monthly progress reviews at the buyer’s Melbourne office and provide written status reports to the Procurement Director.

  • 4.1 This Purchase Order is governed by the laws of the State of Victoria, Australia, and the Commonwealth of Australia. Any disputes shall be resolved through the Victorian Commercial Arbitration Service.
  • 4.2 The Aerospace Engineer shall maintain professional indemnity insurance of no less than AUD 10,000,000 and public liability insurance of no less than AUD 20,000,000 for the duration of the engagement in Australia Melbourne.

  • 4.5 All intellectual property generated by the Aerospace Engineer during the course of this engagement shall vest in the buyer upon full payment. The supplier shall execute any necessary assignment documents within five (5) business days of request.
  • 4.6 The buyer reserves the right to terminate this Purchase Order with thirty (30) days’ written notice. In such an event, the supplier shall be compensated for work completed up to the termination date at the pro-rata rate specified herein.
  • 4.7 The Aerospace Engineer shall comply with all Australian workplace health and safety legislation, including the Occupational Health and Safety Act 2004 (Vic), and all site-specific safety inductions at the Melbourne facility.
  • 4.8 No variation to this Purchase Order shall be valid unless documented in writing and signed by both parties’ authorised representatives.

Services shall commence on 1 July 2025 and conclude on 30 June 2026, unless extended by mutual written agreement. All on-site work shall be performed at the buyer’s facility in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia.
