This Purchase Order is issued by the Ethiopian Aerospace Development Corporation (EADC) to procure the professional services of a qualified Aerospace Engineer for a period of twenty-four (24) months. The Aerospace Engineer shall be physically stationed at the EADC Research and Development Campus located in Ethiopia Addis Ababa, specifically within the Bole Sub-City industrial zone. The primary objective of this engagement is to support Ethiopia's national aerospace infrastructure development program, including the design, analysis, and certification of indigenous aircraft components, satellite subsystems, and advanced propulsion research initiatives.
The Aerospace Engineer engaged under this Purchase Order shall perform the following duties and responsibilities while operating out of the Ethiopia Addis Ababa facility:
- Lead the structural analysis and finite element modeling of composite airframe components for the EADC indigenous light transport aircraft program.
- Oversee the aerodynamic design and wind tunnel testing coordination for new wing and fuselage configurations.
- Provide technical supervision and quality assurance for all aerospace manufacturing processes conducted at the Addis Ababa production line.
- Develop and maintain engineering documentation, design specifications, and compliance records in accordance with Ethiopian Civil Aviation Authority (ECAA) regulations and ICAO standards.
- Mentor and train a team of eight (8) local Ethiopian aerospace engineering graduates recruited through the Addis Ababa University partnership program.
- Conduct monthly technical progress reports to the EADC Board of Directors and submit quarterly performance evaluations.
- Coordinate with international aerospace certification bodies to ensure all designs meet EASA and FAA equivalent standards for eventual export eligibility.

- Governing Law: This Purchase Order shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, specifically the Ethiopian Commercial Code and the Ethiopian Civil Aviation Proclamation No. 1163/2019. Any disputes arising from this Purchase Order shall be resolved through arbitration in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, under the rules of the Ethiopian Arbitration and Conciliation Institute.
- Payment Schedule: Payment shall be made in four (4) equal quarterly installments of USD 78,875.00 each, due within forty-five (45) days of the end of each calendar quarter. All payments shall be made via wire transfer to the account designated by Global Aerospace Engineering Consultants Ltd. in accordance with the National Bank of Ethiopia foreign exchange regulations.
- Commencement and Location: The Aerospace Engineer shall report to the EADC facility in Ethiopia Addis Ababa no later than 1 August 2025. All work shall be performed on-site at the Bole Sub-City campus unless written authorization for remote work is granted by the EADC Project Director.
- Intellectual Property: All designs, analyses, reports, and technical documentation produced by the Aerospace Engineer during the term of this Purchase Order shall be the exclusive property of EADC. The Aerospace Engineer shall sign a non-disclosure and intellectual property assignment agreement prior to commencing work in Ethiopia Addis Ababa.
- Termination: Either party may terminate this Purchase Order with ninety (90) days written notice. In the event of termination, the Aerospace Engineer shall complete all in-progress deliverables and hand over all project documentation to EADC within thirty (30) days of the termination effective date.
- Compliance: The Aerospace Engineer shall comply with all Ethiopian labor laws, work permit requirements, and tax obligations applicable to foreign professionals working in Ethiopia Addis Ababa. EADC shall facilitate the issuance of the necessary work permit through the Ethiopian Ministry of Labor and Skills.
- Force Majeure: Neither party shall be liable for failure to perform obligations under this Purchase Order due to events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government sanctions, or civil unrest affecting the Ethiopia Addis Ababa region.
This Purchase Order is issued as a binding procurement document. By signing below, both parties acknowledge and accept all terms, conditions, and obligations outlined in this Purchase Order for the engagement of the Aerospace Engineer in Ethiopia Addis Ababa.
