This Purchase Order is issued by Meridian Aerospace Solutions Ltd. to formally engage the services of a qualified Aerospace Engineer to support ongoing design, analysis, and certification activities for our commercial satellite ground-station infrastructure project based in New Zealand Wellington. The Aerospace Engineer shall be responsible for structural integrity assessments, aerodynamic modelling, propulsion system reviews, and compliance with Civil Aviation Authority of New Zealand (CAA NZ) regulations. The Aerospace Engineer engaged under this Purchase Order shall deliver the following within the New Zealand Wellington operational environment:
- Complete structural finite-element analysis of the satellite ground-station antenna array, ensuring compliance with NZS 3404 and applicable CAA NZ airworthiness directives.
- Produce a comprehensive aerodynamic performance report for the launch-vehicle integration module, to be delivered to the New Zealand Wellington project office no later than 30 September 2025.
- Conduct quarterly design reviews in collaboration with the in-house systems engineering team at the Featherston Street facility in New Zealand Wellington.
- Maintain and update the engineering change management register, ensuring all Aerospace Engineer modifications are documented per AS9100D quality management standards.
- Provide technical liaison with the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment (MBIE) regarding export control and dual-use technology regulations applicable to Aerospace Engineer activities in New Zealand.
- Deliver a final project close-out report, including all calculation packages, test data, and certification evidence, within 14 business days of contract completion.
- This Purchase Order is governed by the laws of New Zealand and shall be interpreted in accordance with the New Zealand Sale of Goods Act 1908 and the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 where applicable.
- The Aerospace Engineer shall maintain valid professional registration with Engineers New Zealand and shall provide evidence of current registration prior to commencement of work in New Zealand Wellington.
- All intellectual property developed by the Aerospace Engineer in the course of this engagement shall vest in Meridian Aerospace Solutions Ltd. upon full payment. The Aerospace Engineer grants an irrevocable, royalty-free licence for internal use within the New Zealand Wellington facility.
- Payment shall be made via bank transfer to the account nominated by Apex Aerospace Consulting Group Ltd. Invoices must reference this Purchase Order number (MA-2025-04782) and be submitted to [email protected].
- Either party may terminate this Purchase Order with 30 days written notice. In the event of termination, the Aerospace Engineer shall be compensated for all work completed up to the termination date, less any unused software licences.
- The Aerospace Engineer shall comply with all health and safety obligations under the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015 (New Zealand) while working on-site in New Zealand Wellington.
- Confidentiality obligations shall survive termination of this Purchase Order for a period of five (5) years. All project data relating to the New Zealand Wellington facility shall be returned or securely destroyed upon request.
- Disputes arising from this Purchase Order shall be resolved through mediation in Wellington, New Zealand, in accordance with the Disputes Standards Act 2017, before escalation to the District Court of Wellington.
