This Purchase Order is issued by the Capital Development Authority, Pakistan Islamabad, to formally engage the services of a licensed Architect and their firm for the design, planning, and architectural consultancy of the new Islamabad Civic Centre Phase II project. The Architect shall be responsible for the complete architectural design package, including but not limited to conceptual design, schematic design, design development, construction documentation, and site supervision throughout the project lifecycle in Pakistan Islamabad.

- This Purchase Order constitutes a binding agreement between the Capital Development Authority, Pakistan Islamabad, and the named Architect firm. All terms herein shall be governed by the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, specifically the Federal Procurement Regulatory Authority (FPRA) guidelines applicable in Pakistan Islamabad.
- The Architect shall hold a valid license issued by the Pakistan Council of Architects and Town Planners (PCATP) and shall maintain professional indemnity insurance of not less than PKR 50,000,000 for the duration of this engagement in Pakistan Islamabad.
- Payment shall be made in milestones as follows: 20% upon acceptance of conceptual design, 30% upon approval of schematic design, 30% upon submission of construction documentation, and 20% upon successful completion of site supervision. All payments shall be processed through the official banking channels of the CDA, Pakistan Islamabad.
- The Architect shall submit all design deliverables in both hard copy (A1 and A3 formats) and digital formats (AutoCAD DWG, Revit RVT, and PDF) to the CDA project office located in Pakistan Islamabad.
- Any changes to the scope of work outlined in this Purchase Order must be approved in writing by both parties. The Architect shall not commence any additional work without a formal amendment to this Purchase Order.
- The Architect shall comply with all building codes, zoning regulations, and environmental standards enforced by the Islamabad Municipal Corporation and the CDA in Pakistan Islamabad.
- Confidentiality: All project documents, site plans, and proprietary information related to this Purchase Order shall remain the exclusive property of the CDA, Pakistan Islamabad. The Architect shall not disclose any project details to third parties without written consent.
- Dispute resolution: Any disputes arising from this Purchase Order shall be resolved through arbitration in Pakistan Islamabad in accordance with the Arbitration Act, 1940 of Pakistan.
- The Architect shall provide a minimum of two (2) senior architects and a team of no fewer than eight (8) professional staff members dedicated to this project in Pakistan Islamabad.
- This Purchase Order shall remain valid for a period of ninety (90) days from the date of issue. Failure to accept this Purchase Order within the stated validity period shall render it null and void.
By signing below, both parties acknowledge and agree to all terms, conditions, and obligations set forth in this Purchase Order for the engagement of Architect services in Pakistan Islamabad.
