1. Description of Architect Services

This Purchase Order is issued by Chimangwedu Construction & Development (Pvt) Ltd to formally engage the services of a registered Architect for the design, planning, and architectural supervision of a residential development project located in Zimbabwe Harare. The Architect shall be responsible for the full architectural scope of the project as detailed below, in compliance with all applicable building regulations, the Town and Country Planning Act (Chapter 20:12), and the standards set forth by the Zimbabwe Building Code as administered by the Harare City Council.

2. Scope of Work and Deliverables

4. Terms and Conditions

This Purchase Order constitutes a binding agreement between Chimangwedu Construction & Development (Pvt) Ltd and the appointed Architect for the provision of architectural services in Zimbabwe Harare. Both parties acknowledge and accept all terms herein.
The Architect shall be a duly registered professional with the Zimbabwe Building and Construction Industry (ZBCI) and shall maintain valid professional indemnity insurance of not less than USD 500,000 for the duration of the engagement.
All architectural drawings and design documents produced under this Purchase Order shall be the exclusive property of Chimangwedu Construction & Development (Pvt) Ltd upon full payment. The Architect retains the right to reference the project in professional portfolios with prior written consent.
The Architect shall comply with all applicable laws of Zimbabwe, including the Town and Country Planning Act, the National Building Regulations, and all by-laws of the Harare City Council governing construction in Zimbabwe Harare.
Any variation to the scope of work must be agreed in writing via a formal Variation Order referenced to this Purchase Order. No verbal instructions shall be binding.
Payment shall be made via bank transfer to the Architect's designated account within Zimbabwe. All payments are subject to applicable withholding tax as prescribed by the Zimbabwe Revenue Authority (ZIMRA).
The Architect shall provide a minimum of 48 hours' written notice before any site inspection or progress meeting. Failure to attend scheduled inspections without cause shall result in a deduction of 2% of the monthly supervision fee per missed visit.
This Purchase Order may be terminated by either party with 30 days' written notice. In the event of termination, the Architect shall be compensated for all services rendered up to the date of termination, less any amounts already paid.
Disputes arising from this Purchase Order shall be resolved through mediation in Harare, Zimbabwe, in accordance with the Mediation Act of Zimbabwe. If mediation fails, the matter shall be referred to the High Court of Zimbabwe, Harare.
The Architect shall not subcontract any portion of the architectural services without prior written approval from the client. Any approved subcontractor shall be bound by the same terms as this Purchase Order.

Note: This Purchase Order is governed by the laws of the Republic of Zimbabwe. All references to "Zimbabwe Harare" in this document denote the physical location of the project site and the jurisdiction under which the Architect's services shall be performed. The Architect acknowledges that all work must conform to the planning standards and building regulations enforced by the Harare City Council and the Ministry of Local Government and Public Works of Zimbabwe. 5. Acceptance and Authorization

By signing below, both parties confirm that this Purchase Order has been reviewed, understood, and accepted in full. The Architect confirms availability to commence work within five (5) business days of the date of this Purchase Order and acknowledges all obligations pertaining to the project in Zimbabwe Harare.
