Terms and Conditions of this Purchase Order
- Acceptance: This Purchase Order (PO-ABA-2025-04871) constitutes a binding offer. The Astronomer, Dr. Alejandro Ríos Vega, shall confirm acceptance in writing within ten (10) business days of the issue date. Failure to respond within this period shall render this Purchase Order null and void.
- Payment Terms: Payment shall be made in three (3) installments: 40% upon signing, 40% upon delivery and installation of all physical equipment in Argentina Buenos Aires, and 20% upon final acceptance of all services and deliverables. Payment shall be processed via bank transfer to the account designated by the Astronomer.
- Performance Location: All services, installations, and on-site activities under this Purchase Order shall be performed at the designated facilities in Argentina Buenos Aires, specifically at the Instituto de Investigaciones Astronómicas del Conurbano and the Villa Crespo field station, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- Quality and Standards: The Astronomer warrants that all services and equipment shall meet or exceed the specifications outlined in this Purchase Order and comply with the standards established by the Argentine National Agency for Science and Technology (Agencia Nacional de Promoción Científica y Tecnológica).
- Intellectual Property: All data, publications, and research outputs generated under this Purchase Order shall be jointly owned by the purchasing institution and the Astronomer, with publication rights shared equally. The Astronomer retains the right to present findings at international conferences.
- Warranty: All physical equipment listed in this Purchase Order carries a minimum two-year manufacturer’s warranty. The Astronomer shall provide a one-year service warranty on all consulting and technical work performed in Argentina Buenos Aires.
