All physical goods listed in this Purchase Order shall be delivered to the Wellington Astronomical Research Institute premises at 12 Observatory Lane, Kelburn, New Zealand Wellington 6012 no later than 30 August 2025. The Astronomer designated under this Purchase Order, Prof. James Hargreaves, shall be present on-site during the final 48 hours of delivery to oversee unboxing, initial alignment, and preliminary calibration. Installation must be completed in a manner that complies with the New Zealand Wellington Council building and environmental bylaws, particularly those governing light pollution mitigation and structural load-bearing requirements for the observatory dome.
- This Purchase Order constitutes a binding agreement between the Wellington Astronomical Research Institute and Stellar Instruments & Astronomer Consulting Ltd. upon countersignature by both parties.
- The Astronomer engaged under this Purchase Order warrants that all professional services will be performed with the skill, care, and diligence expected of a senior research Astronomer operating in New Zealand Wellington.
- Payment of 30% of the total Purchase Order value is due upon execution; the remaining 70% is due within 30 days of successful installation and acceptance by the Astronomer and the Institute's Director of Research Operations.
- All equipment is covered by a 24-month warranty from the date of installation at the New Zealand Wellington facility. The Astronomer shall conduct quarterly performance reviews during the warranty period.
