The Automotive Engineer must hold a minimum of a Master’s degree in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a closely related discipline from an accredited university. A minimum of eight (8) years of progressive professional experience in automotive R&D, with at least three (3) years in electric or hybrid vehicle systems, is required. The Automotive Engineer must be fluent in English and Uzbek, with working proficiency in Russian considered advantageous for coordination with regional partners across Uzbekistan and Central Asia.

  1. Governing Law: This Purchase Order shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the Civil Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Commercial Code of Uzbekistan, and applicable labor regulations of Tashkent City. Any disputes arising from this Purchase Order shall be resolved through arbitration at the International Arbitration Center of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan, seated in Tashkent.
  2. Delivery and Commencement: The Automotive Engineer shall commence duties no later than 1 August 2025 at the Tashkent Automotive Industries JSC headquarters located at 42 Amir Temur Avenue, Tashkent, Uzbekistan. All equipment and software licenses listed in this Purchase Order shall be delivered and installed at the Tashkent office no later than 25 July 2025.
  3. Payment Terms: Payment for this Purchase Order shall be made in the following installments: 30% upon signing and confirmation of this Purchase Order; 40% upon successful onboarding and commencement of the Automotive Engineer’s duties in Tashkent; 30% upon completion of the 12-month contract term and final performance review. All payments shall be made in Uzbek Som (UZS) via bank transfer to the supplier’s designated account in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.
  4. Performance Standards: The Automotive Engineer shall adhere to all quality management standards (ISO 9001:2015, IATF 16949) applicable to automotive manufacturing in Uzbekistan. Monthly progress reports shall be submitted to the Tashkent project management office by the 5th business day of each month.
  5. Confidentiality and IP: All intellectual property, designs, prototypes, and technical documentation developed by the Automotive Engineer during the term of this Purchase Order shall be the exclusive property of Tashkent Automotive Industries JSC. The Automotive Engineer shall sign a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) prior to commencing work in Tashkent.
  6. Termination: Either party may terminate this Purchase Order with thirty (30) days’ written notice. In the event of termination, the Automotive Engineer’s compensation shall be prorated for the period of active service rendered in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.
  7. Force Majeure: Neither party shall be liable for failure to perform obligations under this Purchase Order due to events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government sanctions, or public health emergencies affecting Tashkent or Uzbekistan.
  8. Compliance: The Automotive Engineer and the supplier shall comply with all labor laws, immigration regulations, and tax obligations of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Work permits and registration in Tashkent shall be secured prior to the commencement date.

By signing below, both parties acknowledge and accept all terms, conditions, and line items specified in this Purchase Order for the procurement of Automotive Engineer services in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. This document constitutes a binding commercial agreement effective upon the last signature.
