• Train a team of six (6) junior field assistants in modern biological sampling and data collection methodologies.
• Submit monthly progress reports to the Procurement Director of EIBR, Ethiopia Addis Ababa office.
• Participate in quarterly review meetings held at the EIBR headquarters in Ethiopia Addis Ababa.

Payment for the services and items specified in this Purchase Order shall be made in accordance with the following schedule:

• Progress Payment (40%): ETB 2,189,600 – payable upon submission and approval of the six-month interim report by the EIBR review committee in Ethiopia Addis Ababa.
• Final Payment (30%): ETB 1,642,200 – payable within thirty (30) days of the Biologist's final report acceptance and project closure.

All payments shall be transferred via bank wire to the supplier's designated account at Commercial Bank of Ethiopia, Ethiopia Addis Ababa branch. The Biologist's professional fees are subject to applicable Ethiopian income tax withholding as mandated by the Ministry of Revenues.

1. This Purchase Order is governed by the laws of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, and any disputes arising from the engagement of the Biologist shall be resolved through arbitration in Ethiopia Addis Ababa in accordance with the Ethiopian Arbitration and Conciliation Proclamation.
2. The Biologist shall maintain full professional liability insurance with a minimum coverage of ETB 5,000,000 for the duration of the contract, valid throughout the Ethiopia Addis Ababa operational area.
3. All data, reports, and intellectual property generated by the Biologist under this Purchase Order shall remain the exclusive property of the Ethiopian Institute of Biological Research, Ethiopia Addis Ababa.
4. The Biologist shall comply with all environmental protection regulations issued by the Ethiopian EPA and shall not conduct any fieldwork that may disturb protected species within the Ethiopia Addis Ababa conservation zones.
5. Either party may terminate this Purchase Order with thirty (30) days' written notice. In the event of termination, the Biologist shall be compensated for all work completed up to the termination date.

The supplier warrants that the Biologist holds a minimum of a Master's degree in Biology, Ecology, or a closely related discipline from an accredited Ethiopian or internationally recognized university, and possesses at least five (5) years of relevant field experience in the Ethiopia Addis Ababa region.
7. Force majeure events, including but not limited to natural disasters, civil unrest, or government-imposed restrictions in Ethiopia Addis Ababa, shall suspend obligations under this Purchase Order without penalty to either party.

This Purchase Order becomes effective upon signature by both parties. The Biologist's engagement commences on the date specified in Section 7, and all deliverables shall be submitted to the EIBR office in Ethiopia Addis Ababa unless otherwise directed in writing.
