The Biologist engaged under this Purchase Order shall perform the following duties at the France Lyon research campus:
- Design, execute, and document original research protocols in the fields of molecular biology, genetics, and environmental microbiology.
- Supervise junior laboratory technicians and coordinate multidisciplinary project teams within the France Lyon facility.
- Ensure full compliance with French national laboratory safety regulations (Code du Travail, Articles L.4121-1 et seq.) and European Union directives applicable to biological research.
- Publish peer-reviewed findings and present results at national and international scientific conferences, with priority given to events held in France Lyon and the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region.
- Maintain accurate laboratory records, manage reagent inventories, and oversee quality assurance procedures in accordance with ISO 17025 standards.
- Collaborate with the France Lyon municipal environmental agency on biodiversity monitoring and water quality assessment projects along the Rhône and Saône rivers.
- Acceptance: This Purchase Order shall become binding upon written acceptance by Lyon Scientific Talent Solutions SARL. The supplier must confirm acceptance in writing within ten (10) business days of the date of issue.
- Delivery and Commencement: The Biologist shall commence duties no later than 1 September 2025 at the France Lyon laboratory site. All onboarding procedures, including French work permit verification and laboratory safety induction, must be completed prior to the first day of active engagement.
- Payment Schedule: Payment shall be made in three equal installments: 40% upon commencement of the Biologist’s engagement, 30% at the six-month milestone, and 30% upon successful completion of the twelve-month term.
