This Purchase Order is issued by the Centre Hospitalier Universitaire Dr. Benbadis, located in Algeria Algiers, for the procurement of specialized professional services rendered by a qualified Biomedical Engineer. - Validity: This Purchase Order is valid for a period of ninety (90) calendar days from the date of issue. The Biomedical Engineer services shall commence no later than 1 August 2025 at the designated hospital site in Algeria Algiers.
- Payment Terms: Payment shall be made in three (3) equal installments via bank transfer to the supplier's account. The first installment (33%) is due upon acceptance of this Purchase Order. The second installment (33%) is due upon completion of the installation phase. The final installment (34%) is due upon successful delivery of the annual technical audit report. All payments are denominated in Algerian Dinars (DZD).
- Qualification Requirements: The Biomedical Engineer assigned to this contract must hold a minimum of a Master's degree in Biomedical Engineering, a valid professional license issued by the Algerian Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and a minimum of five (5) years of documented experience in hospital medical equipment management. The Biomedical Engineer must be legally authorized to practice in Algeria Algiers and throughout the Algerian territory.
- Performance Standards: The Biomedical Engineer shall adhere to all applicable Algerian national standards (NAD), International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) 62353 guidelines for medical electrical equipment, and the specific technical specifications outlined in Annex A of this Purchase Order.
- Warranty and Liability: All work performed by the Biomedical Engineer under this Purchase Order carries a warranty period of twelve (12) months from the date of acceptance. The supplier shall bear full liability for any damage to equipment or injury to personnel resulting from negligence or non-compliance during the execution of services in Algeria Algiers.
- Confidentiality: The Biomedical Engineer and all personnel deployed under this Purchase Order shall maintain strict confidentiality regarding patient data, hospital operational procedures, and proprietary technical information encountered during the performance of duties in Algeria Algiers.
- Termination: Either party may terminate this Purchase Order with thirty (30) days' written notice. In the event of termination, the Biomedical Engineer shall complete all in-progress tasks and submit a final handover report to the hospital administration in Algeria Algiers.
- Governing Law: This Purchase Order shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the People's Democratic Republic of Algeria. Any disputes arising from this Purchase Order shall be resolved through the competent courts of Algeria Algiers.
All services under this Purchase Order shall be performed exclusively at the following location: Centre Hospitalier Universitaire Dr. Benbadis, Route de Boufarik, 16000 Algeria Algiers, Algeria. The Biomedical Engineer shall report to the Director of Medical Equipment & Engineering on each working day between 08:00 and 17:00, with additional on-call availability as specified in Item 03 above.
By signing below, both parties acknowledge and agree to all terms, conditions, and specifications set forth in this Purchase Order for the engagement of a Biomedical Engineer at the hospital facility in Algeria Algiers. This document constitutes a binding procurement instrument under Algerian public procurement regulations.
