This Purchase Order is issued for the engagement of a qualified Biomedical Engineer to provide specialised technical services to the Sydney Metropolitan Health Services Group.   1. This Purchase Order is governed by the laws of the State of New South Wales, Australia, and the Commonwealth of Australia. All disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Australia Sydney.
  2. The Biomedical Engineer engaged under this Purchase Order must hold a valid Australian Engineering Council (Engineers Australia) accreditation, a current TGA-recognised qualification in Biomedical Engineering, and a valid Working with Children Check and National Police Certificate.
  3. The Supplier warrants that the Biomedical Engineer shall comply with all Australian Privacy Act 1988 obligations, hospital infection control policies, and the Australian Medical Device Regulations 2002 throughout the duration of this engagement in Australia Sydney.
  4. Payment terms: Net 30 days from receipt of a valid tax invoice. Invoices must reference this Purchase Order number (PO-2025-SYD-BME-0472) and be submitted to the accounts payable department at Sydney Metropolitan Health Services Group, Australia Sydney.
  5. The Supplier shall maintain professional indemnity insurance of no less than AUD 10,000,000 and public liability insurance of no less than AUD 20,000,000 for the duration of this Purchase Order.
  6. Any variation to the scope of work described in this Purchase Order must be approved in writing by both parties prior to commencement. Unauthorised variations will not be accepted for payment.
  7. The Biomedical Engineer shall be subject to the hospital's security clearance process, including background checks, prior to gaining access to any clinical area within the Australia Sydney campus.
  8. This Purchase Order may be terminated by either party with 30 days' written notice. In the event of termination, the Supplier shall be compensated for all services rendered up to the termination date.
  9. All intellectual property developed specifically for the Buyer under this Purchase Order shall vest in the Buyer upon full payment. The Biomedical Engineer shall not disclose any confidential patient or operational information obtained during the engagement in Australia Sydney.

The Biomedical Engineer is required to commence duties no later than Monday, 1 July 2025 at the primary facility located at 42 Macquarie Street, Australia Sydney, NSW 2000. The Supplier shall ensure that the Biomedical Engineer is fully inducted, has completed all necessary site access registrations, and is equipped with all required personal protective equipment prior to the first day of engagement. A handover meeting between the Buyer's Clinical Engineering team and the Biomedical Engineer shall be conducted on the first working day to review existing equipment registers, outstanding maintenance schedules, and current compliance status across the Australia Sydney site.

By signing below, both parties acknowledge and accept the terms, conditions, and scope of work outlined in this Purchase Order. This document constitutes a binding agreement for the procurement of Biomedical Engineer services in Australia Sydney as specified herein.
