- Commencement: The Biomedical Engineer shall commence all duties no later than 1 July 2025 at the Hôpital Général de Kinshasa premises in DR Congo Kinshasa. A formal handover and equipment familiarization period of 14 days shall precede the start of billable services.
- Work Location: All services under this Purchase Order shall be performed exclusively within the hospital campus and its affiliated satellite clinics located in the Kinshasa metropolitan area, DR Congo. Any off-site work requires prior written authorization from the Buyer.
- Payment Terms: Payment shall be made in monthly installments via bank transfer to the Supplier's designated account in DR Congo Kinshasa. Invoices are due within 30 days of receipt. Late payments shall accrue interest at 2% per month as stipulated under DR Congo commercial law.
- Performance Standards: The Biomedical Engineer shall maintain an equipment uptime rate of no less than 95% for all critical life-support devices. Failure to meet this threshold for two consecutive months shall constitute a material breach of this Purchase Order.
- Regulatory Compliance: The Supplier warrants that the Biomedical Engineer holds all necessary professional certifications recognized by the DR Congo Ministry of Health and the Kinshasa Regional Directorate of Health.
