This Purchase Order is issued by Al-Nahda Medical Equipment & Services Co. W.L.L. to procure the professional services of a qualified Biomedical Engineer for the installation, calibration, maintenance, and regulatory compliance of advanced diagnostic and therapeutic medical devices at our facility located in Kuwait Kuwait City. The Biomedical Engineer shall be responsible for ensuring that all medical equipment operates in full accordance with the standards set by the Kuwait Ministry of Health and the Kuwait Standards and Metrology Organization (KSMO). The scope of work includes, but is not limited to, the following deliverables:

All services under this Purchase Order shall be performed at the buyer's primary facility situated at Al-Salimiyah, Kuwait Kuwait City, State of Kuwait. The Biomedical Engineer assigned to this contract must be physically present at the Kuwait Kuwait City site during all scheduled work periods. Any off-site activities, such as parts procurement or specialized calibration at a regional laboratory, must be pre-approved in writing by the Procurement Director. The Biomedical Engineer shall comply with all local labor regulations of the State of Kuwait and must hold a valid work permit and professional license issued by the Kuwait Ministry of Health.
Payment for the services rendered under this Purchase Order shall be made in accordance with the following schedule:
- 30% Advance Payment: KWD 10,119.38 (inclusive of VAT) shall be remitted within 10 business days of the signed acceptance of this Purchase Order by both parties.
- 40% Milestone Payment: KWD 13,492.50 (inclusive of VAT) shall be due upon successful completion and sign-off of the installation and calibration phase by the Biomedical Engineer.
- 30% Final Payment: KWD 10,119.37 (inclusive of VAT) shall be payable within 15 business days of the final compliance audit report and handover of all documentation.
All payments shall be made via bank transfer to the supplier's designated account in Kuwait Kuwait City. Late payments shall incur a penalty of 1.5% per month as per Kuwaiti commercial law.
- This Purchase Order constitutes a binding agreement between the Buyer and the Supplier upon countersignature by both authorized representatives.
- The Biomedical Engineer engaged under this contract must hold a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering from an accredited institution and a minimum of five (5) years of relevant professional experience in hospital-grade medical device management.
- The Supplier warrants that the Biomedical Engineer shall maintain all necessary professional certifications, including but not limited to IEC 62353 compliance and Kuwait Ministry of Health registration, for the entire duration of the contract.
- All work performed in Kuwait Kuwait City shall adhere to the Kuwait Building Code, electrical safety standards, and radiation safety regulations where applicable.
- The Supplier shall provide a comprehensive service report within five (5) business days following the completion of each milestone, detailing all procedures performed, parts replaced, and recommendations for future maintenance.
- Either party may terminate this Purchase Order with thirty (30) days' written notice. In the event of termination, the Buyer shall pay for all services rendered up to the date of termination.
- Disputes arising from this Purchase Order shall be resolved through arbitration in accordance with the Kuwait Arbitration Law, with the seat of arbitration in Kuwait Kuwait City.
- This Purchase Order is governed by the laws of the State of Kuwait.
By signing below, both parties acknowledge and agree to all terms, conditions, and specifications outlined in this Purchase Order for the engagement of a Biomedical Engineer in Kuwait Kuwait City.
