This Purchase Order is issued by MedTech Solutions Sdn. Bhd. to procure the professional services of a qualified Biomedical Engineer along with associated equipment and calibration tools. - Payment Terms: 30% advance payment upon acceptance of this Purchase Order; 40% upon completion of the first 6-month service period; 30% upon successful completion of the 12-month contract. All payments shall be made via bank transfer to the supplier's designated account in Malaysia Kuala Lumpur.
- Service Location: All Biomedical Engineer services shall be performed at the 14 designated hospital and clinic sites located within the Malaysia Kuala Lumpur metropolitan area, including but not limited to sites in Bangsar, Mont Kiara, Cheras, and Petaling Jaya.
- Compliance: The Biomedical Engineer and all supporting staff must hold valid registration with the Malaysian Medical Device Authority (MDA) and comply with all regulations set forth by the Ministry of Health Malaysia (KKM) applicable to medical device maintenance in Malaysia Kuala Lumpur.
- Performance Standards: The Biomedical Engineer shall respond to critical equipment failures within 4 hours and complete non-critical maintenance within 48 hours. Monthly performance reports shall be submitted to the procurement officer at MedTech Solutions Sdn. Bhd., Malaysia Kuala Lumpur office.
- Warranty: All equipment and calibration tools delivered under this Purchase Order carry a minimum 24-month manufacturer warranty. The Biomedical Engineer shall ensure all warranty documentation is maintained on file.
- Confidentiality: The Biomedical Engineer and all personnel engaged under this Purchase Order shall maintain strict confidentiality regarding patient data, hospital operational information, and proprietary medical device configurations encountered during service in Malaysia Kuala Lumpur.
- Termination: Either party may terminate this Purchase Order with 60 days written notice. In the event of termination, the Biomedical Engineer shall complete all in-progress maintenance tasks and hand over all documentation and equipment to MedTech Solutions Sdn. Bhd.
- Governing Law: This Purchase Order shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Malaysia. Any disputes shall be resolved through arbitration in Malaysia Kuala Lumpur in accordance with the rules of the Asian International Arbitration Centre (AIAC).
All physical goods (calibration equipment, vehicles, software media) shall be delivered to the MedTech Solutions Sdn. Bhd. warehouse at Level 12, Menara Maxis, Jalan Tun Razak, 50400 Malaysia Kuala Lumpur. The Biomedical Engineer services shall commence on 1 July 2025. Acceptance of goods and services shall be confirmed in writing by the authorized representative of MedTech Solutions Sdn. Bhd. within 14 business days of delivery or completion.
