- Scope of Work: The Carpenter and his team shall perform all carpentry, joinery, and woodwork services as specified in the attached architectural drawings (Ref: ARCH/DHAKA/VILLA2/2025) at the project site located in Gulshan-2, Bangladesh Dhaka – 1212.
- Delivery & Timeline: All materials must be delivered to the Bangladesh Dhaka project site within the timelines stated in the line items above. The Carpenter team shall commence on-site work no later than 20 June 2025 and complete all work by 15 August 2025.
- Payment Terms: Payment shall be made in three milestones: (a) 30% advance (BDT 1,374,187.50) upon signing of this Purchase Order; (b) 40% (BDT 1,832,250.00) upon completion of all structural carpentry and flooring; (c) 30% (BDT 1,374,187.50) upon final inspection, finishing, and handover. Payments shall be made via bank transfer to the Carpenter's registered account at BRAC Bank, Dhaka Branch.
- Quality Standards: All carpentry work must meet the standards prescribed by the Bangladesh National Building Code (BNBC) and the specifications outlined by the project architect. The Carpenter is responsible for all defects discovered within a 12-month warranty period from the date of handover.
- Health, Safety & Compliance: The Carpenter and all team members must comply with the Bangladesh Labour Act 2006, wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) on site, and maintain a clean and safe working environment at the Bangladesh Dhaka project location. The Carpenter shall carry valid workers' compensation insurance for all team members.
- Change Orders: Any modification to the scope, materials, or timeline must be documented in a written Change Order signed by both parties. No additional work shall be performed without prior written authorization under this Purchase Order.
- Dispute Resolution: Any disputes arising from this Purchase Order shall first be resolved through amicable negotiation. If unresolved within 15 days, the matter shall be referred to arbitration under the Bangladesh Arbitration Act 2001, with the seat of arbitration in Bangladesh Dhaka.
- Governing Law: This Purchase Order shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the People's Republic of Bangladesh.
- Confidentiality: The Carpenter agrees to maintain strict confidentiality regarding the client's property details, architectural plans, and any proprietary information encountered during the execution of this Purchase Order in Bangladesh Dhaka.
